So, I had this idea. It started with a plan with two girls who look similar, in the same setting..but with a grunge feel. What it turned into was so much better! In the end I had five amazing models, all with their own style coming together as one. Which we happen to plan in about a day… The turnout was amazing, my good friend Jennifer Szott, from Jennifer Szott Photography (which if your new, we tend to work a lot together.) Anyways, she came with us.. for support and the numbers. Oh I haven’t even mentioned yet, yeah this shoot and this crazy girl gang was headed to China Town, right here in Edmonton. Now if you have never been to this area of town, it’s pretty sketchy. Put it this way we had to walk around the spaces we wanted to shoot at together…because there was questionable activities happening and it was just safer this way. For example.. as we were shooting our first photos with the yellow wall, this man walked across our path, opened a can of sardines, threw the lid across the street and kept on walking. Literally right through our shoot, we just sorta looked at each other and continued on. After that we walked around the streets, walked a few blocks over & got a little rained on before the end of the day. Overall, this was an amazing shoot, and now I have so many photos to choose from. Anyways… everyone needs to follow these girls ASAP! Because each one is amazing, & you don’t want to miss out on anything coming up, as well as more shots from this shoot!
